"A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety." ~Ansel Adams

It's Been a While

One of my favorite things to take pictures of is children. A bit like animals, they don't really pose or act. They're just kids. What you see is what you get.

My nephew Jackson

Dancer at Festival of Colors

This is my friend Liz. We were at Dead Horse Point last year. Unlike the other photos in this post, she's not a child, but much like a happy, go-lucky kid, she's fun to be around.

One more: tree from my backyard in Maryland

  1. Love the little Indian girl. (but that now has a special place in my heart) great photos Jamen!

  2. Excellent blog. I would like to continue to visit you. For mutual benefit, I would suggest to change the icons of followers in the column so that we can easily find one another.

  3. Oh cute... I love the kid's facial expressions. That tree is great. Look, we've got a visitor from Lithuania!
