"A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety." ~Ansel Adams

Blues in Park City

BB King played in Park City last week along with Al Green and Buddy Guy. When the show was over, I got to shake BB King's hand. Great show!

This is Lucille, BB King's guitar. In 1949, he played a show in Arkansas where two men got into a fight over a woman. In the midst of this scuffle they knocked over a barrel of kerosene which was being used to heat the building. The place caught on fire and two people died. The name of the woman that the two men were fighting over was Lucille.

Nature at it's best

Clouds working their magic.

If fires could talk what would they say?

A flower brings a smile to the soul.

Who is thinking of breakfast right about now?

Favor For the Fam

I already posted these on my blog and on facebook. But why not here too? A few pictures I took for my sisters while one of my sisters & my mom were in town.

Decomposing Childhood

Skateboarding was life from age 12-21. Everyday after school my brothers and I spent hours skateboarding in our driveway. This ramp that we built is almost all that is left of those days, and it's decomposing in the woods behind the house, right next to our stack of firewood.

Arkansas Sunsets

Something I love about Arkansas is that it consistently has beautiful sunsets.
